Originally conceived for the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2021, this sculpture was created as part of a collaboration with The Game Fair, where I was selected to represent the UK. The result is a rearing horse that blends equestrian tradition with a refined, contemporary aesthetic for an international audience.

Fabricated from marine-grade stainless steel, the sculpture features an internal superleggera framework for strength and lightness. It is engineered to balance dynamically on a single foot, with hand-cut 316 stainless steel panels shaped and welded to emphasise musculature and movement.

Delivered on a tight schedule from concept to completion, I also oversaw all logistics, including crating, international transport, and installation in Abu Dhabi. Following the exhibition, the piece was acquired by a private collector and installed in a landscaped UK garden, with full site preparation and a concrete foundation ensuring a secure and seamless integration.
